Om migglitter-graphics.com

I am an elementary school principal looking forward to retirement sometime in the next few years so that I can have much more time to read. Previously, I was a teacher and encouraged my students to love reading. There's nothing quite as fulfilling as seeing a child wrapped up in a good book and transformed to another world/time/galaxy.

Om mit bibliotekMy favorite genre is historical fiction, especially Andrea Barrett, Andrea Levy, Isabel Allende, Geraldine Brooks, William Boyd and Marianne Wiggins. Other favorite authors include Richard Russo, Barbara Kingsolver, Khaled Husseini, Amy Bloom, Ian McEwan, Louise Erdrich, Marilynne Robinson, David Sedaris, Wayne Johnston, Elizabeth Strout and Benjamin Black, Vladimir Nabokov and Kate Grenville.

Hi Bonnie,

I know what you mean about being overwhelmed by the threads. I've got so many interesting people, such as yourself, starred that it's becoming almost a full-time job just to try and keep up with the various posts.

See you on the threads!

cheers
Caroline
Yay! We're friends now! :)
I just realized that it's not the other Bonnie who's reading Three Day Road with you, it's Louanne. D'oh! Well, one day you'll all have read it :)
I'm glad you're liking it so far! I'm a little jealous that you and Bonnie are getting to experience it for the first time :) Looking forward to your review...

Our Bonnie is Red Hot with another HOT REVIEW for "Wolf Hall"!~!
You just keep those hits a'coming.
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving and that your Holiday season is cheer and bright.
Again, congratulations!~!

Your review of Wolf Hall is absolutely, amazingly wonderful!!! I've thumbed it, of course. This was my favorite part ... it made me laugh!

You will never get used to the many and tortuous ways in which people are killed at this time in British history. It may be necessary to gag your way through parts of the book that dwell on these torture sessions and executions. After reading this book you may consider “waterboarding” a day at the beach.

Great job!
I was sitting here feeling grateful for all my LT friends and realized that we're not official "friends" yet. How can that be? We two Bonnies have got to stick together! Happy Thanksgiving, Bonnie!
