Hullo ~ If you haven't noticed this already, i just saw your work on somebody's Amazon list. Cheers!
Hi there! i see you've read most of Erickson ~ very cool. i've only read his Arc d'X so far and found it breathtakingly magnificent. i've got some of his other works on my shelves and plan to read Tours of the Black Clock pretty soon. Is there anything else you'd recommend as a must read?
Killer collection you have here.

-Nick
Hey, would you be willing to take a look at a story I just finished? It's too long to be submitted to Bust Down the Door, but I'd like to hear your opinion on it since It Came From Below the Belt was an influence. If you'd rather not look at it that's fine too, of course. I'd expect that editing your own magazine means you're a bit burned out on reading short fiction.
Thanks for the advice, it was actually pretty helpful. I'll give that goal thing a shot, and I'll check out that book - I was meaning to anyway after seeing some good reviews (think I found it on one of your Amazon lists, actually). And yeah, language and absurdity definitely take the foreground in my stuff too - it's just more fun that way, and what attracted me to Bizarro in the first place.
Thanks, I'd love that. Email's tankexmortis(at)gmail.com.

And if you had any tips on generating plot... I'm great at having an idea, writing for a page, then abandoning the piece and never working on it again (quick check of my writing folder gives me 23 pieces I'm working on, 22 unfinished, 15 less than two pages. That's about two or three years worth of work). I'm pretty sure it's because I never have any idea of what's going to happen until I write it, which is, obviously, a terrible way to do things. I almost never have an idea for a whole plot; just individual events or settings or characters. Not expecting a miracle, just if you had any relevant tippy things, it'd be neat.

Oh, and your book arrived. I'll post a review once I'm through it - may take awhile since my reading habits, like everything else of mine, are so fucking ADD.
I'm glad you enjoyed 'Household Gods' - it was fun to write, and Kevin was nice to publish it.

Take care!
Awesome library, Bradley...I found a few new titles here that I just have to get my hands on. Gracias.

Bustin down the doors...

Bradley,

I’ve noticed that you’ve added a picture to your author’s page! Now that you’re part of the community, I was wondering whether you’d be interesting in becoming a Librarything Author.

Our LT Author program, in essence, connects authors with their fans. Authors join LT as regular members -- so you’ve completed the first step! -- and catalog at least 50 books. Then their member profile page is connected with their "author page" on LT (which shows how many other LT members list their books in their LT libraries), and are added to the master list of LT Authors. It's a fun way for readers to browse in their favorite author's personal library, and for authors to connect with their fans on a personal level.

More here.

You can also upload a photo, and post links to your homepage, blog, interviews and articles. Once you feel you meet the requirements, email Abby (abby@librarything.com) and she’ll authorize it as an LT Author account -- it's free. We’d love to have you!

Let me know if you have any questions.

Yeah, I read your how-to on the Dream People; full of advice indeed.
Wow! I think I'm envious of your library! I don't have most of these and WANT them! Damn it! More books to add to my wishlist. Thanks a lot Bradley!
Okay, I'm counting on you to man the watchtowers at the outer limits of my literary limbic. Dark & Lonely work, but somebody has to do it.
Nice to meet you, man - I've heard of your work (well, I've heard of 'Chickens', anyway).
Whyfor the friending? Guess this means I'll have to finally buck up and order your book. Sneaky way to make money, man.

Watch out though, I might just hit you up for writing advice sometime.
Hi ... I'm here too!
