Om mig Native Swede, living in the US since 1994.
I'm very friendly - just say "hi" (eller "hej" om du är svensk!) if you want to ask something about my library, or just chat.
Om mit bibliotek I'm trying to log all the books I own, since I have books on both sides of the Atlantic and have in the past found myself buying several copies of the same book because I forgot I already owned it... There's no real "order" to my library. Some books are for pure entertainment, some are from my university days (literature major - in both Sweden and the US), still others reflect my almost annoying interest in any subject possible. I'm a recovering bookbuying-addict, and have recently learned how to get rid of books I no longer use/want/need, which was necessitated by a lack of space.

Aldrig fucka upp är skriven på samma vis som Snabba cash, personkildringar, språk och miljöer är liknande. Den känns lite rörigare och snabbt skriven, inte lika trovärdig. Trots det är det spännande och gripande, jag läser hellre den än nångon annan deckarförfattare. Den är dock värd att läsas- så beställ den! /Cecilia

over here for the moment we have 25 ° celcius and that's ok for me, I dont like it when we have 30° celcius or more,
I would like to go to Sweden once but have to convince my husband since he is afraid of having cold, but I think in summer the weather in the south of Sweden is much the same as here in Belgium
My sister is going on holiday to Sweden this summer
I am still translating poems of Dan Andersson, for the moment, Till min sister, Aan mijn zuster in Dutch, you see, it's very alike,
when I dont find a word, because Dan Andersson often used words that are not Swedish but Fins -Swedish, a friend of my daughter who already knows soms Swedish is helping me out .
I ordered another cd from Sofia Karlsson, Folk songs, I already have ' Visor from vinden, and ' Svarta Ballader ', do you know her?
I like her singing very much,

maybe we talk a little different but flemish and dutch are the same language !
many words in swedish are much like our words but you speak really different, but I like it and hope I can learn it.
how long are you living in the states ?
I like to read this ' old ' books but also love modern writers , I very much like Coelho , and also Frederiksson , I just read ' Simon' and enjoyed it .

I am living in Belgium and speaking Dutch, most belgiums are speaking Dutch, the others are speaking French en a small part of us is speaking german
I find Swedish a very melodic language and it is related to Dutch, so I am surprised that you learned it not a bit by living in Amsterdam, the words often are very much the same but I think the most difficult thing is the prononciation.
I like very much the poems of Dan Andersson and the music of Sofia Karlsson , also I admire Anne Sofie von Otter and Benny Andersson, his musical Kristina , a real juwel,
I am reading Vilhem Möberg ' The Emigrants ' for the second time, I like that very much

I was looking for books from Dan Andersson. I very much like the songs of Sofia Karlsson, and buyed the cd ' Svarta Ballader ' since I could not find an English translation of the Swedish Songs I started to translate them myself,
very hard to do because I dont speak Swedish but Dutch. By doing this translations I am beginning to take an intrest in Swedish en now I am planning to learn the language, starting in september.
Over here in Belgium, I cant find books of Dan Andersson, neither in Englisch or in Swedish.
