Om mig Eternal student.
Wanderer of dusty aisles.
Caught between the digital world and the need to feel the weight of a book in my hands, the texture of the paper, and smell of the years on its pages.
Vehemently agree with Erasmus: "when I get a little money I buy books; and if any is left I buy food and clothes."
Om mit bibliotek The love of learning, the sequestered nooks,
And all the sweet serenity of books. - Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
My library is a work in progress that at this moment is only restrained by the lack of space in my house.
I am currently building my collection of works on Medieval literature and history with the help of Amazon, ebay, and the wonderful readers on LibraryThing. Sadly, my favorite local used bookstores have been run out of business by the larger chains and internet availability - but whenever I find a used bookstore I am compelled to enter and stock up on the treasures that are only found within their walls.

I see that you're "building (a) collection of Medieval literature and history." Any works you'd care to recommend? "Books, Banks and Buttons" looks intriguing. Is Frugoni a well known writer of works on medieval history? I don't think I've ever come across him/her before.
Thanks,
Sean
