Thank you sounds good.
Thanks for the notice on Good Morning Comrades. It looks fantastic.
Thanks for the tip! I'll certainly add this collection of Kapuscinski's poetry down. There's been a bit of a backlash against him here in Africa since he died - people taking issue with his representation and analysis of Africa and Africans, calling him a "literary colonialist" - so this poetry may well help to round him out a bit more as a writer and a person.

Many thanks
Thank you for the reminder about I Wrote Stone. I actually already have it on my amazon wishlist, I just haven't purchased it yet.
Biboasis,

Thanks for telling me about "Good Morning Comrades" I will check it out shortly.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I'm very interested in Angola culture so this book will be particularly interesting.
Thanks for the tip. I am always interested in seeing African Lusophone writers translated. I am hoping there will be more nonfiction and literature from Angola in the future since I am sure there are some interesting voices to be heard after so many years of civil war.
Dan, thanks for telling me about Good morning Comrades. I really like it when people give me book tips. Though I'm kind of obsessed with nonfiction right now, I am interested to read more about Angola and will look into this and check out your website.
Very appreciative, ER
Thanks for the tip, Dan! I'll be sure to pick up a copy of the book later this weekend. By the way, if you are on familiar terms with one or both of the book's translators, I can only hope that you will encourage them to translate more of Kapuściński's work in the years that follow! As a journalist, he has no equal...

Peace,
Ben
