Om mit bibliotekIn some respects it is two libraries in one, the merging of our individual tastes. Ken is the Rocky Mountains, Richard Ford, baseball, Pete Hamill, short fiction, Tim O'Brien, New York, cartography and music. Lisa is philosophy, Sherman Alexie, Jose Saramago, Nick Bantock, the Middle East, sumo wrestling and Aimee Bender. Together we are Nikki Giovanni, long conversations, history, Scrabble, Sherman Alexie, Raymond Carver, travel, Dick Lourie, Sanjay Nigam, documentaries, photography, Andre Dubus, political science & Frederick Busch.

We joined LibraryThing in 2006 and I'm only now beginning to upload our books. Give me a couple of months. - Lisa, August 1, 2007.

I'm leading a chat on the reissue of Trailer Girl and Other Stories if you have any comments or questions. http://www.librarything.com/topic/75311

Love to hear from you,

Terese Svoboda
Great. Let me know when you have some time (my e-mail address is mail@christphertusa.com).
Hi,

Was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Saw you liked Paris Trout, and I thought you might like my novel since it's also southern and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Hey Lis -- just stopping by to say hello. I am slowly rebuilding my Library Thing-ness. I'm staying busy, writing poetry, starting a small print poetry publication in the fall. I'll have a website for submissions, et. al. More on that as things develop. Good and easy rays, J
Excerpts of Black Glasses Like Clark Kent are posted on Critical Mass, the National Book Critic Circle's blog! Okay, well, it happened around Christmas but I'm still excited. No damning reviews yet.

I'm with Ken; I think I'd have better luck getting books back from bums under bridges than from people I know.
