Om mig I will retire next year (2009) after 15 years as a professor of management at Emporia State University, School of Business. Hobby is genealogy, specializing in 1850 to 1930, but interested in early colonial settlements in Maryland and Massachusetts, in particular. Enjoy writing about my interests, have co-authored one text book, have written over 80 trade journal articles on business acumen, and published three genealogical works, in addition to academic publishing in journals.

Om mit bibliotek My reading in recent years has focused on the founding of the United States, colonial times, revolutionary times until the Jacksonian Era (where I lose interest); mildly interested in some Civil War; interest in the West and Frontier comes and goes.

Professor Smith,
LT attributes you as being the author of this book: http://www.librarything.com/work/5023192. Is this so?
Dr. Smith,
I noticed that we had quite a few books in common even though neither of us have particularly large collections. It turned out they are mostly of the early American history variety. I am working my way through your catalogue and I have already seen a few interesting possibilities. Thanks for posting them.

BTW I retired in 2003 and I would recommend that you take care of that at first opportunity. I haven't found much of a downside to my decision to do so.
I wanted to thank you for accepting my friend request. Judging by some of the books in your library I thought you might be interested what I write. You can take a look at my books at www.SuburbanFiction.com - Let me know what you think, Alex Hutchinson
