Om mig I teach English Lit at the Johannes Gutenberg-University at Mainz, and since 2005 I'm also a published author. I write historical romances, most of them set in early 19th-century Britain.

Om mit bibliotek It's ... uhm ... big. Really, really big. And I love it. :)

My research library consists of two parts: one contains the research I need for my university job and my PhD thesis "Uni Research" / "Diss Research"), the other contains all my creative writing-related research books ("Research"), with a heavy focus on the British Isles and the Regency period.

Fictionwise, I love reading romance, fantasy and cosy mysteries. Of course, I also own loads of the so-called "classics".
