Hi. Thanks for the comment. I'm pretty new to fantasy but I have really been enjoying Martin's Ice and Fire series. I've only read the first three; I have all four but I figured I'd wait until the fifth one is published since it takes him so long to write them. I agree with you about not being able to predict who will make it to the end. My friend who suggested them to me warned me about nobody being safe. I really was surprised that so many main characters would be killed before the series midpoint. I have no idea what might happen.
