Om mig I would be Shrek if he had a fetish for books and tools. Collected most of my fiction books when I was in high school and collage but I can not part with them. I will still read a good story but now my tastes have moved to sciences, history politicks and theology. I love a good well presented argument that a long held scientific theory is wrong; on the other hand if the author is just “out there” with out evidence then I will rip them apart in a review. I would love to host a discussion session on such things but it is hard to find people who would enjoy it. Most people react in one of 3 ways. 1.) Glazed eyes and slack jaw of total boredom normally lasting just long enough for them to make an escape. 2.) Abject horror and indignation that I would dare to talk about any heretical ideas that contradict the infallible science trinity of Hubble, Einstein and Darwin. 3.) Poorly hidden patience of people suffering through a conversation because my help is needed for something.
