Another cute book for elementary aged students, this book includes poems, songs, stories, and riddles. It has plenty of interactive activities that children would love to participate in. I would use this either in the morning as an ice-breaker/wake-up routine or at the end of the day to end on a light note. My only problem with this book is that some of the songs are difficult to follow without knowledge of the tune they are to be sung to. The teacher would have to come up with unique tunes.

This little book is full of rhymes, finger plays, songs, poems, riddles, and stories that are perfect for a change of pace. Many involve audience participation. Some may need to be omitted or updated to remove negative cultural stereotypes.
