(eng) George Raymond Richard Martin (also referred to as GRRM) is an American author, editor and screenwriter of science fiction, horror, and fantasy. He was born September 20, 1948 in Bayonne, New Jersey. He is the author of the A Song of Ice and Fire series, (also other short fiction and novels), and also the editor of the Wild Cards shared universe series. He is not Sir George Martin CBE (born 3 January 1926 in London, England) sometimes referred to as "the fifth Beatle", due to his work producing almost all of the Beatles' records. He also authored "Summer of Love" and other books relating to his music career. These are two different people but their books and names are often mixed because many GRRM titles are listed in LibraryThing as by "George Martin". If any of your books were written by George R.R. Martin, but are entered here as by George Martin, please re-enter your author name to his full name. This will help us to separate the authors and recognise their separate achievements. Hvad? Interessante forfatterlinks |
